Tyler Love, a 6-foot-7, 285 pound offensive tackle with 5.1 speed, has verbally committed to play for the Tide in 2008. Love (from Mountain Brook, Alabama: Mountain Brook High) is the number 7 tackle and the 27th best overall recruit of 2008 according to Rivals. Thus, new head coach Nick Saban just got himself a probable future star.

In the end, Love chose Alabama over Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Virginia.
