Miami linebackers coach Micheal Barrow will love working with Robinson in 2008.

Marcus Robinson, a 6-foot-2, 210 pound outside linebacker from Homestead, Florida (Homestead High), has verbally committed to play for the Miami Hurricanes in 2008. Robinson runs the 40 in 4.57 and made 86 tackles with 22 sacks last season in high school.

That’s right, it’s not a misprint. Robinson had 22 sacks last year. Therefore, it’s no surprise that he was the fourth ranked outside linebacker on Rivals 2008 list.

Robinson chose the Hurricanes over Michigan, Rutgers, Southern Cal, UCF, Florida International, Auburn, Florida, and Florida State. He’s a great pickup for the team.
