Jonas Gray commits to the Huskers

by

Jonas Gray, a 5-foot-10, 213 pound running back from Detroit, Michigan (Country Day High), has verbally committed to play for the Nebraska Cornhuskers in 2008.

Gray runs the 40 in 4.44, benches 295 pounds, squats 430, and rushed for 1,252 yards and 19 touchdowns last season in high school. Word is, he’s extremely tough to bring down. Thus, it’s no wonder that this four star recruit is considered the fourth best running back in the nation by Rivals.

In the end, Gray chose Nebraska over Ohio State, Wisconsin, Florida, Louisville, Michigan, Michigan State, and Minnesota. Lucky for the Huskers he did.
