2008 Recruiting Bio: Julio Jones

by

Julio Jones is a 6-foot-4, 215 pound wide receiver from Foley, Alabama (Foley High) that runs the 40 in 4.48. Those measurables already sound good. Now check these out: Jones also benches 315, squats 505, possesses a soaring 41 inch vertical, and has good hands.

All of this led to him catching 75 balls for 1,306 yards and 16 touchdowns last season in high school.

In the end, it’s hard to imagine a wide receiver with better potential from a size, speed, strength, and leaping perspective than Jones; and this, of course, is why he’s the number three rated football prospect on Rivals 2008 list.

Along with this, Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Colorado, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Louisville, Miami of Florida, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, and West Virginia are all vying for his services.
