2008 College Football Recruiting Bio: Shayne Hale

by

Shayne Hale is a 6-foot-3, 235 pound inside linebacker from Monroe, Pennsylvania (Gateway High) that runs the 40 in 4.5. Fast for an inside linebacker, right?

But here’s what’s really great about this kid. Last season, he put up 105 tackles. He simply has pursuit skills and lateral movement that just doesn’t seem fair for someone with his size.

The interesting part is that Hale (the number 12 overall 2008 recruit according to the Rivals 100) has yet to verbally commit to anyone. Some schools in the running include Michigan, Ohio State, West Virginia, Virginia, and Pittsburgh.
