2008 College Football Recruiting Bio: Matt Patchan

by

Matt Patchan is a 6-foot-7, 265 pound offensive tackle from Seffner, Florida (Armwood High). In sum, he’s highly athletic for his size (runs the 40 in 4.6 and did the shuttle in only 4.0). Thus, Patchan is considered the 4th best offensive tackle in the 2008 class according to Rivals.

In the end, this five star recruit has not yet made a decision regarding where he’s going to attend. That said, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami of Florida, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, and Nebraska are on his short list.

By the way, here’s what Patchan had to say to Scout. “I give more effort than anybody. You won’t find anyone who gives more effort than I do. I think that’s the main thing for me. I’m also very aggressive and relentless. I finish blocks well and on defense I have great hands and am quick off the ball.”

Sounds good to me. How about you?
